Cultural Arts Center

139 W. Main St., Columbus, OH 43215

Located downtown, Cultural Arts Center is known for its exciting studio art classes for adults, but this summer, young artists ages 9-13 can embark on a creative journey of their own taught by professional artists.

This brand-new camp explores self-expression while experimenting with painting, drawing, writing, clay and more. Making new friends and afternoon splashes in the fountain at Bicentennial Park complete the fun filled days. Please pack a lunch, towel, swimwear, sunscreen and water shoes.

Session 2 | #84110

June 21 – 24 (closed June 20 for Juneteenth)

Art of the Selfie

Young artists will take a good look in the mirror, discover their inner beauty and learn how to capture it by painting on canvas, sculpting a portrait with wire and writing and illustrating a personalized story. Introductions to famous portrait artists and their work will bring a smile to everyone’s face!

Session 3 | #84111

June 27 – July 1

Carve it, Sculpt it, Throw it!
