Lifeguards
Looking for an exciting summer job? We’re currently hiring lifeguards for seasonal positions with a pay of $20 per hour. To qualify, you must successfully complete the Red Cross Lifeguard Training course, the course fee will be waived if hired by the City of Columbus. If you’re 15 or older and have the swimming skills needed, take the first step by submitting an interest form. Our aquatics team will be in touch to schedule your pre-course swimming skills test. If you are interested in becoming a lifeguard, submit an interest form. Someone from the aquatics team will contact you to set up a pre-course swimming skills test.
Employment Application
Employment is based on the successful completion of the Red Cross Lifeguard Training course. Completing the course does not guarantee employment. Anyone who is unable to pass the Lifeguard Course can apply for a position as a Rec Aide.
