PLAY Scholarship Fund

PLAY SCHOLARSHIP FUND

The PLAY Scholarship Fund was created because the City of Columbus believes all kids deserve the chance to play regardless of ability to pay. Financially-challenged families with children 18 years and younger can apply for a PLAY scholarship for any fee-based program offered through Columbus Recreation and Parks Department.

Brian S. Casey Memorial Jr. Golf Membership

Sharon Casey is carrying on her husband’s passion for the PLAY Scholarship Fund through the Brian S. Casey Family Memorial Fund. The fund was set up after Brian and their daughter, Megan (pictured), lost their lives in a plane crash in December 2016. Brian was very involved in the Champions for PLAY Golf Outing and believed strongly in its mission. This year donations made to the PLAY Scholarship Fund (up to $10,000) will be matched by the Brian S. Casey Family Memorial Fund.
