Big Walnut Trail

The Big Walnut Trail is a developing Central Ohio Greenway along Big Walnut Creek. In 2023, the longest completed section of this trail connects Hoover Reservoir to Inniswood Metro Garden. In the City of Gahanna, the trail brings users to Creekside Gahanna, a center for retail and restaurants. Once the trail is completed, users will experience connectivity from Hoover Reservoir to Three Creeks Park, with connections to the Alum Creek Trail and the Blacklick Creek Trail. Although the trail is not yet continuous, the existing segments provide opportunities for scenic transportation, park access, and wildlife observation.
