Overview
Coronet Woods Nature Preserve is a 3.7 acre nature preserve area in the North Linden community.
History
Coronet Woods Nature Preserve is largely an upland forest and features a small wetland that is fed by both precipitation and groundwater. Historically, Coronet Woods was agricultural land until approximately the 1950s, when the land was left alone and natural forest succession occurred to be the woods we see today. Coronet Woods was dedicated as a nature preserve in 2024.
