Therapeutic Recreation Swim Team Camp

Therapeutic Recreation Swim Team Camp is an inclusive summer experience for youth with and without disabilities. Campers will spend the week in the pool, learning and practicing proper swim techniques and skills. Campers must be able to follow instructions and function independently and safely in small group settings. Participants must have successfully completed American Red Cross Level 3 swim lessons prior to the start of camp. If a swimmer has not yet reached this level, completion of Level 3 swim lessons is required before attending Swim Camp. Therapeutic Recreation staff are unable to provide 1:1 care for campers who require individual support for behaviors, elopement, medical or personal care needs. 1:1 care providers who are coordinated by the caregiver are welcome to attend camp with campers. Contracted, qualified personal care support may be available on an as-needed basis.

Note: *Campers must be enrolled in school. Campers must be able to swim complete one length of the pool assisted or unassisted.

Fee: Resident $75 / Non-resident fees apply

Meals: Snacks provided.

Camp Hours: 8 a.m.-12 p.m.

Before Camp Drop-Off: 7:30-8 a.m.  |  After Camp Pick-Up: 12-12:30 p.m.

Late Pick-Up Fee: A $15 fee applies for pick-ups between 12:30-12:45 p.m., with an additional charge of $1 per minute for arrivals after 12:45 p.m.
