Aquatics Capital Improvement Plan

Overview

In 2021, Columbus Recreation and Parks Department initiated a community-driven process to develop an Aquatics Capital Improvement Plan. Developed with community input and data from previous planning efforts, this plan will drive near-term facility improvements and help guide the direction of the department’s aquatic program over the next 20 years. The recommendations from the plan have already shaped the department’s work. Two pools were renovated, and renovations on a third pool will begin in late summer 2025. Northeast Indoor Aquatics Center

Columbus Recreation and Parks Department, in collaboration with Columbus City Schools, will build a new indoor aquatics center in the Northeast neighborhood of Columbus. Learn more about the project.
