Why is the department making this change?

Columbus Recreation and Parks remains committed to offering solutions to engage older adults in active, connected community experiences despite the rising costs both we and our residents are facing. The pass is designed to make it easier and more affordable to participate in multiple programs throughout the year while helping us sustain the quality programs residents value. It was designed based on the feedback from more than 250 older adults told us in listening sessions that they wanted programs kept affordable and predictable, and that they preferred a membership or bundle option over higher individual class fees.
