Tree Walk at Columbus Park of Roses

Join us for a free tree walk at Columbus Park of Roses at Whetstone Park! Did you know the Columbus Park of Roses is a certified Level II arboretum by the Morton Arboretum in Chicago? The tree walk will be held on Thursday, Oct. 9, from 1-2:30 p.m. Assistant City Forester Chad Hoff will teach participants how to identify trees in the park, as well as common issues and attributes of different tree species.
Walking may be on uneven terrain. Meet west of the Whetstone Park Shelterhouse outside of the Columbus Park of Roses.
