Welcome to Freedom Park
Columbus Recreation and Parks Department is planning improvements to Freedom Park, an 8-acre neighborhood park in the Westland community. Freedom Park currently provides a shelter, parking lot, playground, paved walking paths and picnic tables. It is located at 5691 Westdale Park, Galloway, 43119.
The project team planning these improvements will evaluate existing park conditions, recreational needs, park access, parking and amenities, along with other design considerations.
Community members are invited to share their ideas through the Freedom Park online survey to inform the development of the park’s master plan.
