The Man Who Came To Dinner

Mark your calendars! Grandview Carriage Place Players presents “The Man Who Came To Dinner” in December! Sheridan Whiteside, International literary legend and friends of the world famous and Infamous, dines at the home of the Stanleys, slips on their doorstep, breaking his hip. A tumultuous six weeks of confinement follow. The Stanley house becomes the kingdom of this irascible invalid, who has comical visits from Hollywood elites, murderous convicts and penguins. All this happens, at “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year.” This Broadway classic comedy is recommended for ages 14 and up.

Performances will be Thursday, Dec. 16, at 7 p.m., Friday, Dec. 17, at 7 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 18, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 19, at 2 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased at the door for $10 for adults, $5 for students and seniors. This performance will be held at the Van Fleet Theater at Columbus Performing Arts Center, 549 Franklin Ave., Columbus, Ohio 43215. We hope to see you at the show!


Get ready to be frightened by our Grandview Carriage Place Players’ newest performance: Dracula. This radio play will be released every Wednesday of October, starting Oct. 13. Scary entertainment for preteens through adults.

CATCO recently merged with the children’s theatre group, the Phoenix Theater for Children, (affiliated with Columbus Recreation and Parks) thus creating the current CATCO is Kids performing arts group. This local children’s theatre company produces new and classic works, in addition to providing theatre education programming.
