Open Auditions: The Best Christmas Pageant Ever

Auditions for The Best Christmas Pageant Ever will be held on Sunday, September 28 and Monday, September 29 at 6:30 p.m. at the Columbus Performing Arts Center, 549 Franklin Ave. Participants should plan to attend one night only.

Anyone ages 10 and older are welcome to audition. The production features a wide range of roles for both children and adults. See a list of roles below.

Bradley Family

  • Father (Bob Bradley): Steady, dependable family man
  • Mother (Grace Bradley): Sharp, kind presence who anchors the family
  • Beth Bradley: The narrator with a strong voice and presence
  • Charlie Bradley: Typical younger brother

Herdman Family

  • Ralph Herdman: Ragged, scroungy, with a slouching manner and a touch of adolescent cool
  • Imogene Herdman: Loud, bossy, and crafty
  • Leroy Herdman: Tough and confident
  • Claude Herdman: Combative and stubborn
  • Ollie Herdman: Mischievous, often Claude’s partner in crime
  • Gladys Herdman: Small, wiry, and feisty
