The Power of Us Through Your Lens

As you move through your day, ask yourself, “What moment today shows The Power of Us?” Capture the people, places and moments that answer that question.“The Power of Us Through Your Lens” encourages staff to capture and share photos of the work, people and moments that make our department special.

This campaign is designed to:

  • Celebrate the people behind the work.
  • Help staff recognize the positive impact happening every day.
  • Showcase the many ways employees live our B.O.L.D. values.
  • Increase visibility of work happening across the department.
  • Recognize employees through photo credits and storytelling.

How It Works

Staff are encouraged to submit photos that capture:

  • Staff serving residents.
  • Teamwork and collaboration.
  • Behind-the-scenes work.
  • Programs and activities in action.
  • Beautiful parks, facilities and natural spaces.
  • Everyday moments that reflect The Power of Us.

Selected photos will be featured in internal communications, presentations, digital signage, newsletters and social media when appropriate. Every featured photo will include a photo credit recognizing the employee who captured the image.

A few notes:

  • This campaign focuses on staff, and staff (and our facilities) should be the focus. Avoid including residents in photos unless it’s a crowd. If there are program participants, ensure we have a photo release on file.
  • Make sure staff are comfortable being in the photo before sharing.
