Columbus Recreation and Parks is eager to offer this rare opportunity for your child to dive deep into the world of clay. Does your child already love to imagine, build and create? Us too! While attending the Clay Academy, your child will enjoy two weeks in an immersive art experience, working each day in hand-building and wheel-throwing, walking away with ceramic creations that you can use and cherish for years to come. We explore everything from sculpture to surface design, as well as fun clay challenges and creating functional cups and bowls*. We will create mid-range clay and glaze for high-end finishes and durability.

*To ensure a successful experience, this camp is best suited for participants who are able to focus for a significant period of time, follow multi-step instructions and work independently in a group setting. Studio sessions will be 90-120 minutes in length twice a day.

Columbus resident: $230 / Non-resident: $276

Payment Options

Pay in full at time of registration.

Pay $100 at time of registration and credit card on file will be charged the remaining balance one week prior to camp.
