Elementary Clay Academy (ages 8-12)
Elementary Clay Academy is a one-week-long introduction to the visual arts in the medium of clay. Campers will create two ceramic projects on the first day of camp, one with hand-building techniques and one assisted by staff on the wheel. They will glaze and decorate their artwork on the Wednesday of camp, and display their artwork on Friday of camp in an End of Camp Gallery Show. This camp offers young artists a chance to be introduced to the ceramics medium while also enjoying fun camp favorites like swimming, games, and team-building activities.
