Campers ages 11-14 can choose one of two camps, Camp Oscillator and Camp AI, where they will learn about sound synthesis or AI and machine learning, respectively. At the camp’s conclusion, campers will have the opportunity to share their compositions and creations.
The Fuse Factory Electronic and Digital Arts Lab leads this camp. This Columbus-based organization promotes the exploration of art, music and technology. You can learn more about them at TheFuseFactory.org.
In Camp Oscillator, campers will learn about sound synthesis, get hands-on experience with electronic music gear and create electronic music compositions with BandLab. At the camp’s conclusion, campers will have the opportunity to share their musical compositions.
In Camp AI, campers will learn to generate digital art and animation with AI (Artificial Intelligence). They will also have the opportunity to meet professionals working in the fields of AI and Machine Learning. At the camp’s conclusion, campers will have the chance to share their creations.
Registration Fee
Columbus residents: $100 / Non-residents: $120
Meals
Lunch not included. Bring snacks/a packed lunch and a water bottle.
