Wheelchair Basketball

Columbus Recreation and Parks’ Adpative Sports Club offers two options for wheelchair basketball: Inclusive four-foot hoops and Columbus Knights.

Wheelchair basketball is a dynamic adaptation of traditional basketball for athletes with disabilities. Played on a regulation-sized indoor court with the same hoop height, it emphasizes elite hand-eye coordination, agility, and strategic teamwork. It has been a featured event at the Paralympic Games since 1960.
