Registration
Note: Our 2023 Outdoor Recreation Summer Camps registration opens on Thursday, Feb. 23 at 7 p.m.
Payment is required for registration and can be made in full or with a $10 non-refundable deposit for each session of camp. The credit card on file will be charged the remaining balance one week prior to each registered session of camp. A reservation will not be made until the full payment or deposit has been received.
Outdoor Recreation Summer Camps General Information
What to bring to camp:
- Water Bottle (Water is available onsite to refill)
- Bag to keep belongings in
- Sunscreen (must be able to self-apply)
- Bug Spray (must be able to self-apply)
- Snack and lunch
- Breakfast & Lunch are provided through the summer lunch program and available to all campers unless noted.
- Weather-appropriate clothing (hat, raincoat or jacket)
- Change of clothes and shoes (we will get muddy throughout the week)
- Closed-toed shoes
- Towel
*Please label camper items with first and last name to ensure that all items are returned to their owner.
What not to bring to camp:
- Items of value
- Electronics including cellphones, video games, etc.
* We are not responsible for any missing or stolen items.

Refund Policy
Cancelation/Refund
To receive a refund, a request must be emailed to AMBrown@columbus.gov 10 business days prior to the camp session, or the refund will be processed. Refunds requested between five and 10 business days prior to camp session will receive a 50 percent refund; and requests received less than five business days prior to camp session will not receive a refund. Refunds take six to eight weeks to process. A $15 processing fee will be assessed for each refund request.
